David Venn Enterprises (DVE) is an Australian based entertainment and events company that delivers first class live experiences.
DVE is currently touring The Professional Australian Premiere of The Wedding Singer Musical Comedy to capital cities across Australia and New Zealand. In 2018, DVE produced the Australian premiere of Bring It On The Musical, which later returned for a national tour in 2019. This production won a Green Room award for Best Choreography and was nominated for Best Production. In 2019 DVE was a live entertainment producer for The Australian Open in Rod Laver Arena, and produced the professional premiere of the Off-Broadway musical, 50 Shades! The Musical Parody. This show has recently completed a metropolitan and regional tour across VIC, NSW and TAS.

Holding a Bachelor of Performing Arts – Drama and Theatre Studies, David has worked professionally in the entertainment industry in a range of producing, directing, design and event management roles.
Prior to launching DVE, David was the Event Producer for the Entertainment Store – A TEG Company, one of Australasia’s leading family entertainment groups representing leading brands including The Walt Disney Company, Mattel, Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Cartoon Network, BBC, Sesame Workshop and Entertainment One.
In this role he produced and managed relationships for many large scale events and immersive experiences including The City Of Melbourne Santa’s Grand Arrival, The Australian Formula One Grand Prix and Disney Special events across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Mediums include theatre, live arena spectaculars, major outdoor festivals and parades, conferences, award ceremonies, interactive experiences and marketing and PR stunts.
David is also the co-owner of Stage Masters, dedicated to creating theatre experiences that educate and promote the art form to young aspiring performers. Production credits include 13 – A New Musical, 13 – A New Musical: Return Season, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, High School Musical, Into The Woods: Junior, Disney’s Camp Rock: The Musical, Xanadu Junior, Footloose The Musical, Bring It On The Musical, High School Musical 2 Jr and Fame The Musical.
In his spare time, David is the Director of Melbourne Gang Show. The not for profit Performing Arts unit of Scouts Australia. In this role, he leads a cast of 140 youth and 200 adult supporters working behind the scenes to stage a full scale original musical each year.
David’s performing credits include Oliver! (Cameron Mackintosh) and Summer Heights High (ABC).
