Ric Birch – Expo’88 Director of Entertainment – is planning a reunion of the Expo’88 Entertainment Division at Brisbane’s Southbank next year on 30 April, marking 35 years from the Opening Day of Expo’88 – an event that provided many young performers, producers, technicians and stage crews with their start in the entertainment industry. Many have gone on to achieve greatness in their field.

Please pass this on to anyone you know who worked on the biggest entertainment program that has ever been seen in Australia – 186 days straight, 12 hours every day of headliner acts, nightly laser and pyro shows, aquacade and water-ski shows, parades, street entertainers, international circus acts, marching bands and of course a pink submarine with 24 tap dancers on deck that sailed down Brisbane River.
